Early Warning Bias Advisory!

https://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/minorities-who-whiten-job-resumes-get-more-interviews?cid

Your culture starts before the first resume comes through the system.

An early warning advisory, this article is a heads up regarding candidate bias. This isn't new. For too long, the talent pipeline has been the first negative point of contact and an unfortunate culture warning light for many.

Especially now, with businesses struggling to attract and engage high performers and future leaders, companies are missing valuable opportunities to identify, connect and engage.

#EOE and all the other jargon doesn't matter if your business isn't walking the talk. It's time to repair the underlying issues permanently and allow the talent pipeline and recruiting process to illuminate your culture in the best way possible. Remember, #FirstImpressionsMatter.

I'd love to hear your thoughts... What fix(es) would you recommend and how would you make them stick?
