A Storm is Building...

After experiencing Storm Uri, what was essentially a 100 year winter storm, a number of Texas businesses are telling employees unable to work remote they will either have to use holiday pay or leave without pay. Talk about the straw breaking the camel's back, how engaged do you believe these employees will be?

People already under significant stress, are now exceeding their breaking points!

Instead of compassion and coming up with a workaround, these employers choose alienation and disenfranchisement - creating two tiers of employees, those who can work from anywhere and those who must physically show up. Hmmm, I sense something is quite amiss...
